2. Make your way around the perimeter of the supermarket first – where the fresh fruit is kept, as well as vegetables (frozen and fresh), the dairy and meat fridges, fresh breads and deli. Fill your trolley with these choices first.
3. Venture into the middle aisles last to complete your shopping list. Remember you don’t have to hit every single aisle.
